Photo Sessions

Full Private Session

A full private session can take place anywhere – your home, your favourite walk or at a dog training school you attend (e.g. Barking Mad at Graveley and Broom and they are happy for you to use their location & equipment). During an hour long photo session I will take as many different pictures of your pet(s) as possible. A full session will cost from £45.00. The advantages of a full photo session include:

Individual attention where we will try to capture any specific picture you have in mind at a location to suit you (models permitting!)
No limits to the number of photos uploaded to a private page on my website for you to view your session photos
Potential to take some contemporary high key images of your dog(s) – photos of your dog(s) on a white background (only if an indoor environment with at least 10’ square clear space is available)

Should you require a longer session this will cost £30.00 per hour or part thereof. I am also more than happy to travel further afield but for longer distances additional charges may apply – please ask for details. NB All prices exclude location or local charges outside of my control.

Mini Private Session

From time to time I arrange to spend time at a location where you can book into a mini private session. These sessions cost £ 15.00 payable at the time of booking up last for twenty minutes. Mini session advantages include:

Individual attention where we will try to capture a variety of different pictures of your dog both at rest and, more likely, at play (models permitting!)
Up to 20 images uploaded to a private page on my website for you to view your session photos.

Photographs

All photos are printed by a Professional Photo Lab in Scotland who apply colour correction to ensure that your photos are of the highest quality. I also apply basic photo corrections to all purchased photos in Photoshop before sending them for printing.

Personalised Greeting Cards

There are four sizes of cards available are: 6x4", 7x5", 5x5" and 6x6". Each giving landscape, portrait and square formats. They are printed on 300 gsm coated paper and are UV laminated on the outside front and back. The inside paper finish allows you to hand write your personal message to compliment your choice of text.

Once we have done your photo shoot you select the image for your cards, together with your choice of text for the inside of the card. There is a minimum order of 20 cards per image selected.

Gallery Prints

Size	Cost	Gallery prints are the perfect way to display those larger images giving an effect that your print is floating just off the surface of your wall. Gallery prints are fixed to the wall using unobtrusive batons that can’t be seen from the front and sides. The image is printed on true silver photographic paper giving you the reliability and longevity of a traditional photographic product. Photo books can be customised in a variety of ways and the above table provides only a small selection of guide prices. For example you may want more pages, a different type of paper, a different style of book. Please contact me for details or we can discuss during your photo session.

By their very nature a single mini photo session is unlikely to produce enough different photos to make a photo book special – as I keep all photos I take it is possible that over time – if you book on to different photo sessions – that you could accumulate a wide range of pictures that would suit a photo book. E.g.

Different seasons
Different locations
Different stages of your dogs life – puppy, adolescent and sensible!

Just contact me and we can make the necessary arrangements.

* Additional copies of books must be ordered at the same time as the original book to qualify for the reduce prices.

CD Images

If you would like to purchase all of the images from your photo session on a CD the cost is as follows:

All of the above will have a P&P cost added – which depends on what and how many products are ordered. My aim is to pass just the P&P costs that my suppliers charge me to deliver the products to my address. In this way I don’t have to added a P&P cost to each product which keeps my prices down.

Photo Session Considerations

During each session I will do my best to take the shots of your dog(s) that you really want – but where it looks like your dog is becoming anxious or stressed we may have to stop the session or take a time out. For example some dogs can get stressed by flash guns or being in the close vicinity of a stranger. I will always put the welfare of your dog at the top of my priorities.

You are responsible for the behaviour and actions of your dog(s) at all times throughout the photo session and your dog should have a basic level of obedience/training.

Lastly if the lighting on the day is very poor and we need to postpone your session no charge will apply – we will just rearrange a suitable date. Mini private sessions will be rearranged for a date to suit the majority of the participants.
